3D Scanning & Reverse Engineering
Our specialist 3D scanning facilities have the capability of reverse engineering or capturing products in a 3D computational format.
The PDC has a portable laser scanner on a high precision arm allowing us to scan in real life objects and convert them into 3D computer models for downstream operations such as prototyping and digital archiving. These 3D models can also be turned into an editable 3D CAD models compatible with SolidWorks allowing for full reverse engineering.
